I’m endlessly inspired by the natural world, especially the ocean. There’s a kind of awe in the act of creating: seeing something beautiful, studying it, and then translating its essence onto canvas.
In my work, I use reflection to abstract and distort reality. Through water, familiar shapes dissolve and reassemble. A transformation occurs, and new objects and shapes appear. Something is born in the water, something greater than the sum of its parts.
The paintings below have all found homes around the world. While no longer available, each carries a memory, a place, and a piece of my creative journey and for those who live with them now, a sense of calm, beauty, and connection.
